Project Objectives

Scope of Requirement

Suppliers are invited to submit proposals for the supply of a UV flatbed printer, including (but not limited to):

• UV flatbed printer suitable for signage and display production
• Ability to print onto rigid substrates
• Commercial‑grade build suitable for SME production volumes
• High‑quality colour output with durability for indoor and outdoor use
• Safe operation compliant with UK standards

Software & Digital Capability

• RIP software and colour management tools
• Integration with existing design workflows (Adobe Illustrator / PDF‑based artwork)
• Digital job setup and configuration

Installation & Commissioning

• Delivery and installation at HLB Signs’ premises
• Calibration and initial configuration
• Testing and commissioning

Training & Support

Suppliers should include details of:

• On‑site or remote operator training
• User documentation and guides
• Ongoing technical support
• Warranty and maintenance options
• Consumable availability and ongoing costs

Ethical & Data Considerations

HLB Signs expects all suppliers to:

• Operate in line with ethical and responsible business practices
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of inks, consumables, and waste
